Certainly an option very worthy of your consideration! At least read this. Form your own opinion, even if you disagree with this issue, but at least read it.. You and I owe that to our country.
All I ask is that you consider the suggestion here.
The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt .. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties.
I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation. In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.
Vote every incumbent out.
And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents.
Let's make them understand that they work for us. They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense.
Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

We, the People, have got to take this Country back and
we HAVE to do it peacefully. That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned. I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH -- 8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES. AND 12 YEARS [2 terms] FOR SENATORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED. WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT - NOW LET'S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

And we do away with their Special Retirement system
and their health program (they should have same health
programs everyone else in America does). When they
are through serving their country they go back to being
private citizens. They should view their service as a
privilege; after all it was designed to be a part time job
to represent the voice of the people, NOT the special
interest groups and those who can do favors for them.
If they don't like this proposal then don't run for office.

Please, if you love this Country, send this (as I have done) to absolutely everyone whose email address appears in your address book.
This thing can permeate this Country in no time.
Let's make it happen.

I thought for sure I could get to the end of the year without any last political messages and wouldn't you know it, one more e-mail from the right. Only this one is going to blow the doors off the Obama administration and put America in a turmoil never before seen, you should see my rolling eyes at this point. Check it out.......

Sounds like this could be History in the making.

It's possible someone is going to go down -- either Obama or Fox News.

It may be that Fox has been holding this information back due to the sensitivity of it and out of courtesy.

But, Obama has taken on Fox and it appears they are ready to spill the ugly beans of truth about the

background of this individual who has had an extremely radical past.
I'm not going to miss it and I hope you won't either. This could/should prove to be very, very interesting!

This Sunday, Fox News, is going to air a very important documentary about Barack Obama, Sunday night

at 8 PM Central Time; 9 PM Eastern Time.

The report will go back to Obama's earlier days, showing even then his close ties to radical Marxist professors,

friends, spiritual advisers, etc..

It will also reveal details about his ties to Rev. Wright for +20 years i.e. how he was participating with this man,

and not for the reasons he states!

The report has uncovered more of Obama's radical past and we will see things that no one in the media is willing

In the vein of SRM----I found this newsworthy little item laying around today. :-} I don't know what's more astounding, that they were actually lost, or that 22 million e-mails were needed to fire nine lawyers.

Driving in snow RANT

Living in IOWA, one knows that driving in snow WILL happen. What kills me are the people that are scared to death to drive in it, but do so anyway. You see them all the time. They're the ones that are driving at 10 MPH causing the back-ups and pile-ups in traffic BEHIND them. Or they're the ones that get in the divider between two lanes moving in the SAME direction and refuse to look in the mirror to see the twenty cars their holding up. Common sense says if you live in IOWA, you should be smart enough to own either a four wheel drive vehicle or a front wheel drive vehicle that can navigate half-way decently. The worst drivers on the road are the ones being TOO cautious. Don't get me wrong, caution in this weather is GOOOOD, overly cautious is BAAAAAAD. Maybe next year, I'll start up a "Scared to drive in winter" driving service and I can make some money hauling some of these people around. :-}

Who Remembers Billy Jack?

I had heard a rumor that Keanu Reaves was trying to buy the Billy Jack rights and make another movie, so I went to the link below and got the surprise of my life. Tom Laughlin is still alive and from the looks of it, we're going to have another Billy Jack flick with one old and one young Billy Jack.

For you younger generation, Billy Jack was the FIRST totally independent film produced and released and is still the biggest money making independent franchise to this day. There were four movies, beginning with Born Loser, followed by Billy Jack and The Trial of Billy Jack, and ended with Billy Jack Goes to Washington.

The Laughlin/Taylor team weren't just movie makers but also political activists. I didn't realize just how big of activists until visiting this site tonight. Just browsing around was pretty intriguing and thought some of you might be interested. Honestly, I always wanted a Billy Jack hat but after seeing what they go for in the Billy Jack store, I'll keep wanting. TWO Extra Hawkeye Tickets

Alright folks, we've got two vehicles completely loaded and for some unexplained reason, we've got TWO EXTRA TICKETS for the Hawkeye game. The face value is $52.00 but I won't quible over a couple of bucks. The seats aren't together, one is upper north end zone and the other is south press box sideline endzone. If anyone is interested, send me a message and we can meet up for an exchange. If your like me, seats don't matter, I prowl and float all over Kinnick following the team back and forth and just checking out the sights. You can even join our caravan, I've got parking three blocks from Kinnick at $25.00 a vehicle with portapottys and tailgating area. Hundred even should make both of us happy. :-}

Don't know if anyone else has read it, but the old girl just keeps having one great idea after another. :-} Although this one has some glaring mis-truths inserted, the answer really leaves a picture in your head. :-}

Here is the solution:
      While discussing the upcoming Universal Health Care Program with my sister-in-law the other day, I think we have found the solution. I am sure you have heard the ideas that if you're a senior you need to suck it up and give up the idea that you need any health care. A new hip? Unheard of. We simply can't afford to take care of you anymore. You don't need any medications for your high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc. Let's take care of the young people. After all, they will be ruling the world very soon.

    So here is the solution. When you turn 70, you get a gun and 3 bullets. You are allowed to shoot one senator and 2 representatives. Of course, you will be sent to prison where you will get 3 meals a day, a roof over your head and all the health care you need! New teeth, great! Need glasses, no problem! New hip, knee, kidney, lung, heart? Well, bring it on. And who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you that you are too old for health care. And, since you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income tax.
