A NEW START AND NAME PLUS A PEACEFUL CHANGE

Like its residents, the Servicemen’s Home of the QCA is getting a new start.

The home, originally called Veterans Enabling Themselves Services, or VETS, celebrated its opening on Veterans Day last fall. With 12 residents, the home at 910 Marquette St., Davenport, will celebrate a rededication at 1 p.m. Feb. 16.

 

We could post this story in WORDS FROM OUR WARRIORS so that  there might be a reference to find  the address with this economic downturn.

 I wish them well as life doesn't come with gurantees.  Sometimes folks just need time to sort out facts, memories,and responsibilities with out pressure or  qualifications beyond their control.
