Weekend Poll: What's your favorite part of the Super Bowl?
Posted by: Melissa C on February 5, 2010 at 9:49AM CST
I have been invited to Super Bowl parties and I have been invited to Super Bowl Commercial parties. While many Americans do use the Super Bowl as an excuse to get together with friends, eat, drink and have a good time, not everyone is there for the football.

I've also heard some ladies take this opportunity to do a Girls Evening Out while the men are occupied with the pig skin. Then again, not all guys will be glued to the TV this Sunday, either.

Tell me about your Super Bowl (or anti-Super Bowl) plans. And vote for your favorite part of the event.

My football buddy is from Indiana and pulling for the Saints. I'm hoping New Orleans gets back the hurt-the-QB game plan they used against GB. Manning will pick NO apart.

I don't really care who wins ... not a fan of either team. I'm just excited to watch it cause it's football :)

I love it when it comes down to the wire in a tie or to a final play by a team down by the margin a TD or FG would overcome. I wish I could interest my youngster in the game. That can be achieved only by a young lady who has Teenager's passion for the game I'm afraid. :)

I love the game. My household is pulling for the Colts. I like them both (I'm really a baseball fan, but enjoy big football games). I even made a "King Cake" for us today...sure it's not Fat Tuesday, but any cake could qualify as "fat whatever"....*L*

(Anyone know where a bakery around here sells a King cake?) Here's a link to show you what it is:http://goneworleans.about.com/od/festivals/a/kingcake.htm

Productivity in Indianapolis will be much better than in New Orleans today, I think, if only because attendance at places of work will be affected by celebrations in New Orleans. The Saints made a liar out of me.
We had a Dutch cake yesterday for a family birthday from a bakery in Pella, Rose. Yummy.

Second half of that game was pretty amazing, wouldn't you say, folks?

Those rascals grabbed the momentum when they fell on that onsides kick. Manning seemed to lose his 'edge,' if you will, threw a couple bad ones, one deep and one to the sideline, that defenders got to before he threw the clincher for the Saints.
