Weekend poll: Do you wear your pajamas in public?
Posted by: Melissa C on February 19, 2010 at 11:06AM CST
Kay Luna's got a great discussion going on her blog about this topic. Apparently there's been a big stir in Great Britain lately about pajama-wearing parents dropping their kids off at school or pajama-clad shoppers shuffling about the grocery store. Some say it's inappropriate and sets a bad example for the kids. Other people don't see what the big deal is.

Today, we'd like to know - Do you wear your pajamas in public?

Only if I think I won't have to get out of the car...or I'm going to the ER.

I love drive thrus.

LOL...I just read this and today I dropped off and picked up my son from pre-k today in my green bay pj pants. I've done that a couple of different times.

I also do it for an occasional quick trip to Wal-mart, the grocery store, or the dollar store.

Out back sometimes when picking up the doggie mess. Who's looking?

With women I think it's hardly noticeable as out of the ordinary, even in a store.

PJ's just ain't the same anymore. I wear sweat pants to bed and if I have the day off, I'll have them on all day. If I have to go out into the yard I don't change. But for the benefit of other shoppers at Hy Vee, I'll change into jeans before I peruse the fruits and vegetables.

Long underwear makes a good pair of pajamas, but I won't be wearing those outside any way but under my britches.

I'd have to draw the line at a lace nightie. I'll wear my flannel football pants to run up to the Casey's, but I won't go out to dinner with them. Pant's are pant's...

Heck yes! Who wants to put on real pants to walk over to the dinning hall? Not me! :)
