Question of the Day: Which Monopoly token is your favorite?
Posted by: Mayor Melissa on November 18, 2009 at 3:49PM CST
The McDonald's promotion ended Monday, so if you want to play Monopoly, it's back to the Parker Brothers board game for you. A few coworkers reported fighting with siblings as kids over their favorite token. Do you have a favorite Monopoly playing piece? The horse and rider, perhaps? Or the top hat? Does anyone ever really want the iron?

Vote for your token of choice below. (Not all pieces are in every edition of the game.)

I like the revolver - oops, wrong game; that's Clue.
(I pretend it's a 9mm with a huge magazine).

Always the top hat here as well. Some of the pieces were missing in the 30 year old Monopoly game I grew up playing, so our options were a little more limited.

Pen - The rope was good. And the lead pipe in the old sets was real lead. Konk! A corpse in the Library!
We didn't often play Monopoly, but I picked the battleship for a favorite piece.
