Posted by: North2Alaska on July 10, 2009 7:27AM CST My son is the salsa king in our family. He doesn't use a real recipe. Whatever pepper he can get his hands on goes in it. After dicing and draining tomatoes, he uses jalapano, habanara, banana, red, green and chilie peppers. To that he adds red onion, a good amount of fresh garlic (we love garlic) cilantro and instead of white he tried Balsamic vinegar. Seemed to add a "rich" flavor to it. He just throws it together, and after lots of taste testing, he'll call it done. It may never be the same every year, but it's always good!
