No, not me. (There's a sign of the apocalypse right there.) The new royalty is Sir David Chipperfield, the London architect whose first designs in the United States included the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, followed by work in Des Moines and St. Louis. The 59-year-old was on the list of the Queen's 2010 New Years Honours. (Yes, I did use the British spelling.) Here's more:
