I had the pleasure to meet this couple in the elevator of the County Courthouse on Monday, minutes before they were to receive their paperwork for same-sex marriage. They were very warm, friendly, and clearly in love. I find it awful that so many people are close minded and can't just get over the fact that people can love someone of the same sex. If its against your religion, okay... but don't go preaching and forcing your views on someone else. The rebuttal to that is always the same, "WELL, THEY'RE FORCING THEIR SINFUL WAYS DOWN OUR THROATS." Its life. Sorry you find it "blasphemous" and "sinful"... but these people didn't CHOOSE to be/feel this way. This battle is just like telling African-Americans in the 60s that they are not worthy of the same rights as whites... or not letting women vote in the 20s. Get with it people.

Paustian is the pig. I don't think stooping to his level was a good idea on Elesha's part... but I understand where she is coming from. Paustian has never run anything but negative campaign spots. My parents received the "Pig" ad the other day in the mail and it really made me mad. Ross Paustian is just like John McCain... he knows he is up against something that is CHANGE. So he feels the only way to win is to smear and distort. Well... he'll learn... no matter how much money he poors in, he is going to lose out. (Just like Braley VS. Whalen match a few years back)

Yes poolgirl15- At the very start of the concert... I thought he was a bit tipsy... but I think he was just being extra playful.

The night was perfect. His voice is killer and he certainly knows how to put on a show!
